- How the narrative tips contribute to the success of the game.
I choose Mortimer Beckett and the Lost King games for this task.
Narrative means the non-interactive part of a game's story, the part in which the game designer tell the players things without letting him do anything.
1. Goal, Obstacle and Conflict
Goal - A time portal in Mortimer's uncle's house has opened, allowing modern-day objects to pass through to locations across the globe and throughout history. Mortimer need to travel in time portal to close that portal and make all clear as before.
Obstacle - Mortimer need to solve all the puzzle and find hidden object.
Conflict - On his way to solve the puzzle, he needs to travel to another time to solve previous puzzle. Mortimer also needs to use his creativity in solving the puzzle. He needs to fulfill other request in order to get a hidden object.

3. Consider the Hero's Journey

The locations of the hidden object and some of puzzles change each time player play the game. Mortimer must travel to different ages in time to put things right.
